Our first destination was Padmanabhapuram Palace, the historic place is around 15 K.Ms from Nagercoil. It was quite beautiful place and to add that not so crowded, so we found the right combination of time and space for clicking.
Front view of the palace ...
The secret window, you could see the escape route from here!!!
Forgot to count how many people can be accommodated inside this huge hall !!!
The external view of a hall.
Natyasala (Navaratri Mandap), a beautiful and interesting part of the palace.
Think about perfection !!!
Counting the pillars and doors :)
Shops just outside the palace's main gate, where you can find goodies to make your house as beautiful as the palace interiors.
And the journey continues ...

An interesting thing happened in the night just before we were starting for the dinner, the destination was 'Beijing Bites'. As a veggie lover I found that the place was very nice and needless mentioning the food was wonderful, the reason why we were there. That was indeed a calm weekend.
The glass house center of the attraction
The unstoppable crowd
Another icon of the fast changing technology. The lunch pad is right there ...
Never ending view ...
Not to miss the wonder icon, that was another attraction.
Countless flowers, made me realize the true colors of life.

This is an amazing flower, I found it decorated inside the reception of a hill top resort. In the morning time the color remains white and in the evening it changes to pink. While taking this pic there was this quote in my mind “

Dinner @ Tangerine, a wonderful place, awesome food and a memorable dinner :)

one of the busiest roads in the city calming down...
off to the CMH Road ... with coffee getting over, we were looking some alternatives.
it was rare that we could find a open shop @ 11.00 PM, and what we discover 'Lakhan' setting idle on the road side foot path. He sells 'butta' (Corn) to make a living.
The tasty butta ...
I found an intresting character in him, who knows 3 south Indian languages including Kanada, Telugu and Tamil, although he hails from Rajastan. When I asked him how he managed to learn all these languages, he replied just like a perfect business man.... "Sahab, ye tu apoun ka dhandha hai ...".
I was in sort of words after my talk with these children. They were spending the entire day in this unusual getup, searching visitors who can contribute a penny to help them for the next day.
