Pay the price!

I know, we have to pay the price for everything that we want to see as a change. It's little more than a year and still counting with a hope ...

Everywhere it's the same story. We can just crib & nothing else.

Exactly, everywhere the same story! but the point here is not that somebody is cribbing but what is that we are ready to give up for the change we are looking for…

Yeah, difficult sometimes. What change we achieve & at what cost ?

Hope Metro Rail comes before 2011 else roads in Bangalore would be like the one we had in Tin Factory :)

So true... But the sad reality is that our cities are mostly unplanned and when we try to expand our inffrastructure a lil further, a few difficulties are bound to arise. Add to it, the glaring fact that hardly ANY project is completed in time. There are inconveniences for sure, but if in the long run it is beneficial, I think we can pay the price for it now.

Cuckoo, there was this thought “from a much needed change its difficult to say what we will achieve tomorrow but again it is possible to relate it with the time and our actions of today” and it appeared in front me as “the metro rail”. Hey, do check my other post linked to this post.

Himanshu, everyone here is hoping for a quick turn around for “metro rail” but 2011? not sure.

Prashant, certainly things are improving in blr. I think because of the growth the untimely completions of projects are like not meeting any of the purpose or the requirements of it.

Lakshmi, I too think all changes are not required and you have sighted the right example.

And whoever said that more things change, the more they are the same!

it’s true that difficulties arise while expanding infrastructure in an unplanned city but the most surprising thing is that in most of the cities (e.g. blr) when new localities/areas come up they are also so unplanned and congested. Why there is an authority in almost every city for planning? and then tomorrow the act of destroying the houses and cutting the trees for reclaiming more space is really unfortunate because of some other project.

Ash, that’s true.

Hey, change for the same ? still you have to pay the price :)

Hope is what keeps us all going. Not everything is solely in our hands, I guess.
