Slow Melodious and Soulful Songs

I am back here again with one more tag, this time Dust Unsettled tagged me to post some of my most favorite songs. So thanks to him and sorry as well for such a long delay for this post :) Well! now its a difficult job to officially pick 10 songs out of a ocecean like collection of songs but then I can promise to try the best. You may click on the hyper-links to play the songs; I have used Youtube to compile the links.

So here I go with this musical tag ... The Music, guitar & life rocks :)

1. Life in Technicolor II from Coldplay. I am absolutely in love with this song. The soulful music, awesome lyrics and unforgettable voice everything is so perfectly molded. My iPod says that it is the most played song with 1000+ play count.

2. Daylight from Coldplay again. It’s like a magical song for me, magnificent use of guitar and truly awing lyrics. The best part of the song remains with the closing of the song with 22 time repetition of “Slowly breaking through the daylight”. I can say that there is this biggest fan of Coldplay here in the form of me and I would preferably put their each and every song in my playlist.

3. When Morning Comes from Dishwalla. Here comes another giant name in Rock. This particular song has one of my most favorite and again the best of Guitar play. All of the songs in their album “Opaline” is having things that can be termed as mind blowing.

4. It’s You from Swithfoot, one of the heart touching song with great music and melodious voice of Jon Foreman is something that will keep echoing inside your heart longer than you would have expected.

5. Yeh Honsla from the movie Dor, its a brilliantly composed song by Salim-Sulaiman with the  hunting voice of Shafqat Amanat Ali and equally inspiring lyrics.

6. Kholo Kholo from the movie Taare Zameen Par, one of the best from Shankar Mahadevan and I guess this song requires no description.

7. Tu Hi Meri Shab Hai from the movie Gangster. K.K my favorite hindi movies singer and ofcourse I am a big fan of his songs. I can play this song like non-stop for 24x7 :)

8. Jane Kya Chahe Mann from Pyar ke Side Effects. Undoubtedly Zubin is a talented singer, it's another lovely song that I have listen the record number of times.

9. Dil Chahta Hai from the movie Dil Chahta Hai. One more from Shankar Mahadevan, this song reminds my the colleges days, don’t remember how many times I watched this movies and so don’t know how many times I did a repeat play of the song. I must say, the music director Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy trio did a superb compilation for it.

10. Dil Jo Bhi Kahey from the movie Dil Jo Bhi Kahey. One more from Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, ultimate use of guitar in this song and  indeed a energetic song and Shaan you just rock.

So I am done, hope you guys had a great time listening to all of those songs. Now I want to tag Ajeya, Anwesa, Cuckoo, RoshVandita & anyone who likes to pick this tag. All you guys have to do that to find some time form your busy schedule and let us know your favorite songs (at least 10 slow melodious and soulful songs, possibly with the link from where it can be played).  Hope you guys find it interesting, and hey! also have a wonderful week ahead.

Know what?
When I saw Trisha, Dust Unsettled and others doing this tag, I had this intuition that it's coming to me too.

I have atleast 3 more songs tags to do. :(
Thanks for tagging me, don't know when I am going to do this but will certainly do.

Boss thanks for doing this tag and letting us know ur fav numbers. I liked all songs u selected. Life in technicolor is one of my all time favorites. Very right about Ye honsla, it actually rises above the commonplace and as Smriti beautifully categorize it as an Anthem of our times.
