Some good things…

There were those few moments in life where someone can actually realizes the importance or the meaning of a day. As said, somebody change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you can appreciate them when they're right. When I look back; I see all of them on the trace path, ever so long yet incomplete ...

Well! there was one such moment for me and I want to share that with all of you here. Thursday, I received the ‘Best performer in the team' award at my work place. I was glad to see it in my hands :). No doubt it has given me a new direction for striving the best out of me. I have this realization that its a continuous process of involving self in the exponential curve of learning. Finally, I have only one thing to say 'Thank You' for giving me this opportunity.

Some Random...

It so happened with me many times and I am sure it happens with most of us. Yesterday was those rare days where I forced to be part of an argument. I was with some random friends and initially our discussion topic was something related to one of the fellow’s work but gradually the topic drifted to some nowhere. I knew, we were having good time and so those random friends justifying the meaning of random talks. Now there you go, the first 'she' abruptly pointed me saying – ‘I am became some kind of motivated speaker’, the intention was certainly not for a compliment. Me, no reaction to that comment, she understood I didn’t like that interruption and then there was another quick turn to our talk. The second 'she', was totally confused but blindly supporting her point of view. There was another 'he' equally sounding confused as the second 'she' and finding someone who can support his view point and his last hope was I. Before I thought of saying anything I looked at my watch and found it was already late and I need to rush to my work, there I go breaking everyone confusion about right/wrong, good/bad … “hey, guys we are getting late we will postpone our this random discussion for some other random time and lets hope it will have equally interesting things to take”.

So we all started moving… But there was something going on inside my mind, walking down the stairs I realized some people are so much so into themselves that they never able to understand the need of knowing what’s there beyond there thoughts. It is always so easy for someone to tune into a defensive mode and start going against something but never for something. Perhaps, they are looking at the ultimate victory or the success that brings the happiness to them. And the only way they found out to this is to prove rest of the world wrong so that they become right. I can't imagine life is only based upon good and happy things but can it be the last thing?

It is now 3.30 AM, and my alarm clock refuses to be silent (errr...). Thanks to you again buddy; you woke me up. Suddenly I recalled, I had ordered my dinner yesterday night. The guy delivered it at the said time and I received it too but .. I turned towards the table and there it is still waiting for my attention. Ah haaaa! Now I understood why I woke up so so early :)

Have a Good Day !

Reflections of the darkness

In the midst of a sleepless night, it amazed me … I was surprised to see the third eye capturing the reflection of the darkest of the night.

It had already seized the sparkling starts, there was no sign of moon and clouds had have extended their hands of support to fill the sky with dark, there was no way you can escape from them. was it the chaos ? or an extrem streach of a hope that involved all of them. And then the realization was not so far ... it had a shining that would help to follow the lost path and which also behold the silent story it wanted to tell each one of us 'including the ones who have not able to trace their path yet'. A story that many of us called as a dream, a dream that all of us wanted to see in our own reality and a reality that might give a meaning to the life of each one of us here.

P.S: I have taken the picture just in front of my house with the natural light available in the surrounding (actually there was no lights at all:)).

Enrique's 'Can You Hear Me?'

I was browsing through Internet for Enrique Iglesias's any of the latest releases. And what I found is pretty interesting. Damn it! I am never a Football lover (or I say, a maniac) and that tells the story why it was unnoticed by me till now. This song by Enrique is just an amazing one. So here you go …

Enrique's song "Can You Hear Me?" has been chosen as the official song of the UEFA Euro 2008 football tournament. The song is also featuring on a re-issue of the Insomniac album released in certain countries.

Enrique... Enrique
Can You Hear Me!

I'm numb but I can still feel you
Sometimes I’m blind but I see you
You're here but so far away

The times when you wanna.. I'm missing
You make me feel like I’m spinning
Sometimes you get what you gain

I’m on a coaster-collision
Am not about to give in
Can’t explain my position or the condition I’m in.

Where I am is no limit, no walls, no ceiling
No intermission, so
Let the party begin.

(Chorus)
Hey.. Hey.. all the way
D J let it play.
Hey Hey Can You Hear Me?
Oooow

Hey.. Hey.. all the way
D J let it play.
Hey Hey Can You Hear Me?
Oooow

Can You Hear Me? Can You Hear Me? Can You Hear Me? Can You Hear Me?
Oooow

Don’t you mean that you’re my vision
I gotta make a decision
Do I go, do I stay? (Stay)

You’ve gotten into my system
You're in control of my mental
I mean you for a stay
(yeah...)

I’m on a coaster-collision
Am not about to give in
Can’t explain my position or the condition I’m in.

Where I am is no limit, no walls, no ceiling
No intermission, so
Let the party begin

(Chorus)
Hey.. Hey.. all the way
D J let it play.
Hey Hey Can You Hear Me?
Can you hear me?

Hey.. Hey.. all the way
D J let it play.
Hey Hey Can You Hear Me?
Oooow

Oooow oh, Oooow oh, Oooow oh, Oooow oh
Can You Hear Me? Can You Hear Me? Can You Hear Me? Can You Hear Me?
(Oooow oh, Oooow oh, Oooow oh, Oooow oh)

Can You Hear Me?
Hey.. Hey..all the way
D J let it play.
Hey Hey Can You Hear Me?
Can You Hear Me?
(repeat 5x)

Lil Wayne:
Enrique, Yea I can
This is Mr Morales
Hey, hey...

A worrier, all that I see.

Today, I completed reading one of the wonderful books ever written by Paulo Coelho. I bet, I am the biggest fan of his writings :). His books have a vision which reflects the core of life. It’s not so hard to realize that fiction can be so real. It did able to put a smile on my face. If you guys are thinking about the book's name and want to spend the quality time of yours with some quality reading then it’s your turn now. Before I go on with the book name, I want to share few lines from it that hit me really hard… real goosebumps.

A worrier is always aware of what is worth fighting for. He doesn’t go into combat over things that don’t concern him and he never wastes his time over provocations.

A worrier accepts defeat. He doesn’t treat it as a matter of indifference nor does he attempt to transform it into a victory. The pain of defeat is bitter to him; he suffers at indifference and become desperate with loneliness. After all this has passed, he licks his wounds and begins everything anew. A worrier knows that war is made many battles; he goes on.

Tragedies do happen. We can discover reasons, blame others, imagine how different our lives would be had they not occurred. But none of that is important; they did occur and so be it.From there onward we must put aside the fear that they awoke in us and begin to rebuild ...

“Take advantage of the chance that tragedy has given you; not everyone is capable of doing so.” - The Fifth Mountain

The Sunrise, Sunset - From My Photo Gallery

First of all, thank you so much Cuckoo for inviting me for the photography competition at your blog. To be frank, most of my photographs reflects my mood and my third eye’s presence around me at that moment and I really don’t think they were/are the best shoot for a competition. But again, if somebody finds it giving worth a look then I am glad to share them. So Cuckoo, I am honored, when you say I can “give tough competition to others” :)

Coincidentally, the subject ‘Sunrise – Sunset’ that she has picked for the current month is one of my favorite shoot times. I have hundreds of photographs for the moment from various places and it’s really a hard task for me to pick one out of them because to me all looks great and the same :P. And as always, I have the same question remains inside my mind, how somebody can distinguish between the Sunrise and the Sunset just by looking at those pictures? is there any way I can do that ? Well, I never have a satisfactory answer.

Alright, enough searches for the answer and here you go with the picture from my gallery for Sunrise …

A background of this photo, I was on a trip in Dec 07, to this amazingly beautiful place called Puri, and it also happened to have the most beautiful beaches in India. It was morning around 6.20 AM, walking along side the beach I could see a new world around me, it was having the hope in every rays that touched this life and smiling back that it can never be still, it has to move on. And I reminding myself one of the favorite quote – “We can only appreciate the miracle of a sunrise if we have waited in the darkness”.

P.S : Oops !! Sorry for the confusion. Actually, I had to post a photo of sunrise only, so as per Cuckoo I edited the post accordingly. But now I don’t want to delete this Sunset picture from the post as it is one of my favs, so I am leaving it as it is :) to add to the never ending question or say the confusion. Look at the pictures and see how difficult it is to distinguish between the Sunrise & the Sunset. Perhaps its the creator's, the almighty's wish to retain the same looks for both of them but giving two completely different meanings and both of them have their own representation and significance here. One brings the light and one takes it away...

To give a background of this photo, I have clicked it in the trip to Orissa in April 08. I was standing almost at the center of the riverbed of Rushikulya around 5.20 P.M when my third eye was able to capture the reflection of golden rays on the lazily moving water of the river.

From my blog; some of my favorite collection of photographs of Sunrise moments (on eastern cost of India) can be found here. Likewise, a collection of Sunset moments (on the south-western coast) can be found here.

Journey of Life Continued ...

Life has its own way of give & take formulae ... In the path of happiness, change, growth and success. I wonder, unknowingly or knowingly we lose things which maybe have a greater value then whatever we already achieved or in the process of achieving them. It’s difficult to sight any reasons; perhaps we don’t know about them or just that we at times are so mindless.

Probably somewhere, we have proved ourselves better or because we didn’t allow the better part to happen, and in between we met with our dreams and followed it as if they are the only meaning of the life. It become complex in its own terms and every time we tried simplifying it, an indication that we are never left behind with them. We speeded up to break the boundaries of silence; we crashed our paths many times chasing the ‘one thing’ and finally slay the noise realizing the fact that the 'one thing' can only be 'love' or maybe it's the 'irony of love'.

We know, we are all part of this journey, a little while ago not knowing the beginning we started it together and now don't know where it leads, whether it will remain un-changed or change is part of it, and ever since I choose my travel path I realized that the journey has no end but many beginnings ...

HBD T U :) :) :)

Today is, yet again special because it’s the b’day of one of the most amazing creature I know on the earth .

And on this b'day the most wonderful quote that struck to my mind, is dedicate to this tiny-biny creature - "Because time itself is like a spiral, something special happens on your birthday each year: The same energy that God invested in you at birth is present once again."

Wish you a very very happy b'day ‘madam asl’, Diya :) :) :)
