Saturday Rainbow

It was a very eventful Saturday for me and I was able to finish most of the things that was awaiting my attention for quite a long time, and to top that there were something more in the store that reminded me I have yet another reason to thank mom. And also it was the rainbow who visited Bangalore last evening to say “Hello, beautiful life” …

"Somewhere over the rainbow, skies are blue, and the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true"

Oh! did I tell you that there were in fact two rainbows, or it was just a reflection of the one? :) :)

"We may run, walk, stumble, drive, or fly, but let us never lost sight of the reason for the journey, or miss a chance to see a rainbow on the way.”

P.S : The pictures were taken with Nokia N78 Mobile Phone

Ulsoor Lake, Bangalore

I took some snaps in and around Ulsoor Lake just to remind myself that I had a wonderful walk early morning on a weekend. It was relaxing and I can say a perfect start of the day.

A quite and nice place at morning, need to start your day with right kind of freshness - Vivekananda Park. But hey don't dare to enter into this place in the evening time.

If you feel you don't want to walk in the overly crowded roads around and also you find there is not enough space then here is one place you need to think about ...

I am still wondering about it, a little place is more then enough to survive.

I wish this greenery will spread all over ...

Sailing through the world that somebody can imagine for thy self.

Pay the price!

I know, we have to pay the price for everything that we want to see as a change. It's little more than a year and still counting with a hope ...

Hey, rains come again :)

It was one of those hectic week at my work place and barely able to find time to do anything else apart from the office works. Imagine, coming back from office and you even don’t feel like removing those cloths or searching for the right one and just like that go to bad to signal that end of day; the very next day you find your things are scattered everywhere inside the house; the books, clothes and everything else :). Oh! I realized then at times we also need to be focused on balancing the time for works at home is also important. But again it’s an art that we learn everyday and try to improve everyday. Yeah! The good thing is that I am not tired of doing all those works and until now nobody has complained about it, hopefully I can finish them over the coming weekend.

Yesterday, I thought of starting at the usual time from office (work hours) and luckily I did manage to do so. I don’t know whether it was by luck or something … I encountered with some real special things, the memories where refreshed and without no time the child inside me took over the control :). Can you guess who are they? Yeah! you are right, clouds and rains :P... Do I really need to say that they are the welcome guest in B’lr and they don’t follows anybody’s time rule (ummmh! maybe only one person’s). Not so surprisingly! it was started pouring heavily, just when people were on their way to catch the buses/cabs parked around the campus. I noticed that all of a sudden most of them rushed to the opposite direction finding a place to shed. When I reached the at ground floor entrance/exit corridor to discover a crowd, that was already waiting there for rains to stop (I guess they were the most affected ones :) ). Some of them were mumbling ufff this rain ... blah blah ...

I already had a glimpses of the rain while coming down the stairs and that was enough for me to knowledge the nature's call without being wasting any more time to disappear with the crowd ;). And as usual my third eye was quite alerted not to miss any of those awing moments.

my favorite ...

I walked slowly towards the crowd to find a narrow path, and there I go ... on my way soaking the rain water, enjoying the rhythms, feeling the touch of the silvery drops, gradually losing yourself with the amazingly weather surrounding and then leaving behind some shouts from unseen faces... Hahahahah!!!

I know an inspired soul can do amazing stuffs :) and the weather needs no words.

on way back; I was at cloud 9 :D

'Kya aapko K.I.L.B hai?' Any ides what this guy is asking ? :D

Oh! did I mention? after reaching home I just went on to sleep without doing anything until buddy woke me up at 4 A.M :D

And I didn’t find a better time than this to think about what happened yesterday, and to quote the un-quote ..

"May you always have walls for the winds, a roof for the rain, tea beside the fire, laughter to cheer you, those you love near you and all your heart might desire."

You guys have a wonderful day!

HAL Aerospace Museum

After couple of failed attempts to visit this place finally I made it on the 3rd week of May. The HAL Heritage Centre and Aerospace Museum is the first of its kind in the country.

It was really fun exploring some of the aspects of Aerospace and one of the most sophisticated sciences. And a visit to this place is a most spectacular thing for the eyes. HAL has given Bangalore an unique status as the City of Aeronautics.

The museum was opened to public in way back Aug 2001. In News; you can find more information about HAL Heritage Centre and Aerospace Museum here and also some more information at War Birds of India.

Dove (Devon), designed & developed by DE HAVILAND, UK.
The Light Combact Aircraft (LCA).

LAKSHYA, Pilot less Target Aircraft can be reusable for 10 missions.

A view from the back side garden ...

There Center is divided into 2 halls, Hall 1 : exhibits various models of aero engines, highlighting various functions and features of the engines. It has its own part of history holding way back from the 2nd World War. Hall 2 : again sails through the history of and milestones of the Indian aviation industry with good no. of photographs all around the place.

Inside the Hall 1. the aircraft - BASANT.

The history ...

Air traffic Control Radar & Antenna; RADAR – Stands for Radio Detection & Ranging. It provides positional information of aircraft.

The heat-shield of PSLV, and how it looks like from the inside :)

I spent good 3 hrs inside the museum; a first kind of experience for me and looking forward to another round of visit to this beautifully organized place.

Crazy Rains

Tuesday night, probably was the first time that I witnessed a heavy rainfall in B’lr with wind speed crossing over 60 K.ms. ph. For a moment it was scary but the good thing was noticed that it took the heat off from the city. At around 7.30 PM, I was on my way to drop bro at the Airport. And surprisingly from nowhere these dark & crazy clouds cover the entire sky and with no time water and water …

Untill I reached the Airport I was completely wet and forced to run to the corridor and stucked there; to my surprise I didn’t have a way out. For a while, life put a halt on everything and I have no option other then quietly watching the power display of the nature.

The man made creations were looking so so… tiny in front of the nature’s. It didn’t even take few minutes to put a stop on almost everything. That was also indicating that how well equipped infrastructure our city is having (not on a positive nod). Only after the rain stoped … was able to hear the silence and gradually life followed it to bring itself back to the normal stage.

P.S. Pictures are taken from my mobile phone (and the quality of these pics are not so impressive) at the Airport ...

After affect on Thursday moring, walking on 100 ft. rd. found this tree that explains what happened the day before yesterday ...

traffic or hell ???

Today, probably I have seen one of the worst traffic jam ever. It took more than half an hour just to cover a distance of less than 2 K.ms, i.e. crossing one traffic-signal. You are left with no option other then waiting and watching the crowd not moving an inch forward. It’s really a frustrating thing for anybody on a morning to exhaust all the energy in a bad traffic jam like that. But again you or for that matters anybody else is so helpless – Not really !!!

I wonder as an individual, if you can really contribute something constructive towards the never ending problem of traffic in the city, like Bangalore ?

Knowing the limited resources and limitations on infrastructure in the city, why not encourage oneself to use the mass or public transportation? Everyday I can find half of the cabs are empty on the way to office, whereas the roads are unusually packed by single-headed cars. Thanks to all those pity banks and there EMI policies, which appears very lucrative mostly to all those gangs of young IT blood. Most of the time those offers ends up with shit. Why don’t give a second thought that not only helps you but others too. If buying a vehicle is damn necessary then why not using it on road with little responsibly where the city is fighting with so many problems. You can’t be so careless and keep on blaming the govt. for every other problem that you are equally responsible for … the answers should come from you.

Perhaps this is the right time that we should act responsible and create the awareness among ourself first before the situation really go out of control. I really appreciate movements like commuteeasy. But it is yet to be used widely and effectively. As an individual if we start/contribute doing something similar like commuteeassy is intended for then ... and take a little more responsible role as a citizen then probably our daily life on the roads will be much easier and safer.

Think !! think !!

The People’s Car (???)

People says lots of stuffs about Nano . I am not denying the fact that it will surely a milestone in the success story of modern India. Hey give a second thought to it, no doubt it's a wonderful car (I too assume) but do we really think we can save our footpaths ???. The problem here is totally different and most of us aware of the situation, now we can afford a car or anything that matters but it’s just impossible to stick on to it. You can buy a car but what about fuel rates ? what about the roads ? and last but not the least what about safety ? I am sure; all these things will be still far from the reach of the crowd. And Nano will definitely add more problems to the current situation, sounds like miracle to me if someone will prove it wrong.

With the infrastructure in the cities going bad day by day, can we really enjoy such things in the future ??? Probably the answer is a big NO. Take an example of Bangalore's whitefield rd. the only (2nd) road that connects it with the city and it is so horrible by now. And hey forget about creating new roads or expanding these existing roads because there is not an inch space left for the future.

Not so long time, back I have taken these pictures using my mobile phone while on the move inside this area …

I guess, this situation is similar in almost all the cities and it’s not so hard to realize we are making things to make sure our life is more miserable in the coming days.

A Dream for a Green City !!!

Love Bangalore for whatever reasons I can find. It has been around four years of time since I became part of this Hi-tech city in India. As a citizen, I witnessed many ups and down with it. On some occasions I felt this city really sucks but again on the second thought every other city in this country has its own set of problems and limitations by its own. As said - a city grow when its citizen follow the growing trend with the time but what if it finds a different way breaking some of those untold rules? Well, then it can change the definition of growth. In that case then the problems are no more to be mentioned any where but as a common man you have to face it in your day to day life.

There can be many more challenging things in this city that somebody needs to address on an everyday basis and to name one such thing is the 'Traffic' issue, which is gradually playing a role of a inhibitor in the fast growing life of many people. You have read the deadlock theory in your operating system book and now you see it happening in front of you. Do you have a solution yet? Nope! so better not to mention how many time you have missed the flights or trains, or suffered a bad road block or ended up screaming on a rainy night way back to your house.

Sometime you end up spending a good more than 1 hr on the road waiting for the way to open up. Why do you do that? don't you know you only need 15 mins of your time to walk back.

An empty road ... huhh !!! I have taken this photo when the red traffic light was burning on the other side of the road :) Anyways do I need to mention that B'lr is gifted with heaven's greenery and with an awesome weather.

Can we hold on to this gift and appreciate the effort put by many of the people to grow these trees. So that not to destroy it for whatsoever reasons. I don't know if cutting these trees will able to make our fast moving life a little more faster ???

Metro Rail work is already started on M.G Road, a good sign for this growing city. I hope the plans are made in the view of the betterment of the people living in here. Now can we promise that we are not going to be a threat for ourselves by destroying the gifted things that this city offers to us ?
